SUBJECT MATTER

BostonFIG is looking for strong presenters and content that has to do with digital, physical, and mixed media games in the areas of academic research, hands on/classroom experience, and student experience topics. The talks will be split up into 3 tracks: Academic, Classroom, and Student.

  • Academic Topics: Presenting research on a particular topic of study relating to games.
  • Hands on/Classroom Topics: Teaching techniques, museum games, gamified learning, using games in classroom settings, EDULarps, etc.
  • Student Topics: Breaking into the industry, building portfolios, taking the right courses, understanding game businesses, etc.

Other topics will be considered that don't fit these categories if the topic is particularly interesting.
